ABOUT THE BAND

Roughed-up power pop rockers, The Bishop's Daredevil Stunt Club, have been featured on Chicago's very own WGN radio as well as WGN TV, have seen airplay from WXRT's Local Anesthetic, Q101's Demo 312, WNUR's Powerpop Shoppe, CHIRP Radio, and many other terrestrial and streaming stations for new music. Most recently the single "Hold You Up" got the band recognition as WXRT's Big Beat artist of the week. The BDSC has enjoyed some of Chicago's most sought after venues, including Metro, Lincoln Hall, House of Blues, Bottom Lounge, Reggie's, Cubby Bear and more. The band played nationally and internationally, venturing across the pond to Liverpool and London in support of the LP, "End Over End", which was greeted with praise from tastemakers throughout 2019. While vocalist/guitarist/multi-instrumentalist William Giricz has been the band’s primary creative force, the band is blessed with a solid drummer (Dave Boenzi), a high energy “tiger on Vaseline” rhythm guitarist (Darin Gregg), and an extreme all round talent on bass (Mark Watson), each making the live performance a sight to see and an experience to be had.
